Role Overview

Our client, a U.S. company undergoing a key digital transformation initiative, is seeking a Web Application Engineer to design, develop, and deploy an internal enterprise application integrated with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work with complex data structures, and experience building solutions using Power Platform. The engineer will collaborate closely with the Project Owner and stakeholders to ensure a robust and scalable implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design the data architecture and underlying logic for the application.

• Develop the web-based solution using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI).

• Configure role-based security, authentication, and user access controls.

• Integrate the application with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, ensuring data accuracy and traceability.

• Perform QA/validation of data flows and functional processes.

• Lead and support the deployment to production, ensuring a stable go-live.

• Provide hypercare support post-launch, addressing issues and ensuring smooth adoption.

Technical Requirements

• Proven experience developing enterprise web applications.

• Strong proficiency in Power Apps and Power BI (Power Platform ecosystem).

• Knowledge of credential-based authentication, user management, and role configuration.

• Ability to work with complex data models, relational structures, and change tracking.

• Experience generating dynamic, exportable reports.

• Intermediate to advanced English (able to communicate with U.S. stakeholders).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central development and test environments.

• Previous experience integrating applications with Business Central.
